Lunch Date with Jesus

Here I am!  I stand at the door and knock.  If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him and he with Me.  Rev. 3:20

 

Last October, I needed to get a birthday present for my daughter, and I wanted to have lunch with my friend too, but that did not work out.  I was so disappointed, but then I realized that it gave me time to hang out with my Friend, Jesus.  Just me and Him!  We are having a date!  First we got Tina’s birthday present at Target, and then as I’m leaving, He suggests we have lunch at the café in Target.

 

So we are eating together.  It’s such a drizzly day, dark and wet outside, and I am warm inside, having a bowl of soup with my God.  It is so cozy and sweet and romantic, that He planned for no one else to be available so that it was just me and Him, all afternoon!  Thank You my perfect Friend and Companion.  ♥
